Even after everyone's effort to fix the health system, our area has a gap in coverage. People who make above approximately $17,000 (1 person) are not eligible for the state insurance program. Above this limit, there are some who cannot afford to pay for health insurance. There are other situations...
What Do we do?
At the Engage Free Clinic, we can treat people who make up to %300 of the poverty level in Lincoln, Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties in central OK. We are primary care providers.
We offer an initial office visit, usually followed up with lab tests and then primary care prescriptions, free of charge. We will be your providers until you can get the insurance you need.
Who Pays...
We are supported in 2 ways. We have a network of medical professionals and other volunteers who care enough to serve our clinic, free of charge. We also have community members and organizations who support us with the funds to get necessary supplies.
